On the cooler or gloomier days of the month, there is always the alternative of travelling through images: new exhibitions are waiting to be discovered.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Printmaking and its various techniques are firmly in the museum spotlight.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As we mentioned last month, the Mus\u00e9e national des beaux-arts du Qu\u00e9bec is honoring one of the great Dutch masters of this art.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mnbaq.org\/en\/exhibition\/rembrandt-1304\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.mnbaq.org\/en\/exhibition\/rembrandt-1304<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, it is the Japanese artist And\u014d Hiroshige (1797-1858) who is attracting attention this spring.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exhibition <em>\u6771\u6d77\u9053<\/em><em> T\u014dkaid\u014d. Dreamscapes by And\u014d Hiroshige<\/em> unveils the series of some fifty xyloglyphic prints (obtained by woodblock printing), preserved in the museum\u2019s collections. They illustrate imaginary landscapes leading from Edo (Tokyo\u2019s former name) to the imperial capital of the time, Kyoto.
